Guest Booking Behaviors: What Early Booking Data Tells Us

The bookings guests have already made reveal clear patterns.

1. Flexibility is driving early bookings

Guests are booking early but keeping their options open.

▪️ Bookings with flexible cancellation policies are up 277% year-over-year

▪️ Bookings with moderate cancellation policies are up 198% YoY

2. Trip length varies dramatically by market

3-4 night bookings are the most popular trip length for the World Cup.

But for the full picture, you need to look city by city:

▪️ Miami, New York, and Mexico City (tourist hubs)

Stays of 5–10 days account for more than one-third of bookings.

Guests are combining match attendance with broader vacations.
